To further enhance the practical skills of emergency rescue personnel in using new types of fire-fighting equipment and operating large unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Chongqing Zhongyue Aviation Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. held its first UAV professional practical training class on March 10, 2022. Thirteen trainees from the Nyingchi City Forest Fire Brigade of the Tibet Autonomous Region, the Yinchuan City Fire Rescue Detachment of Ningxia, and the Dongying City Fire Rescue Detachment of Shandong Province attended the opening ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Bai Renyuan, President of Chongqing Zhongyue Flight Academy. During the ceremony, representatives of the trainees from each detachment made statements of commitment.
This professional practical training class lasted two months. The 13 UAV pilots underwent intensive training, further understanding the structure, flight principles, practical operation, and maintenance of UAVs. The training curriculum was practical, the teaching methods were practical, and the learning objectives were closely aligned with the actual needs of firefighting.
UAV instruction involved four "step-by-step" stages: theoretical learning, simulated training, actual flight operation, and certification assessment, emphasizing learning through practice and evaluation. Our flight academy has established a cooperative mechanism with authoritative domestic UAV pilot training and certification institutions. Upon passing the examination, trainees will be issued a nationally unified civil UAV pilot qualification certificate.
