4. Drill Fire Scene Description
The drill simulates a fire in a high-rise office building in Fuzhou City, resulting in people being trapped.
This is the first domestic firefighting drill conducted on a real building exceeding 100 meters in height (building height: 110 meters, fire height: 130 meters, fire width: 40 meters); with the largest indoor and exterior fire scene exceeding 500 square meters, using the most combustible materials (10 tons of wood, 5 tons of cotton yarn, 3.5 tons of oil, and 2 tons of other combustibles); and featuring the most intense flames.
After receiving the alarm, the fire department quickly arrived at the scene for rescue and used heavy-duty fire-fighting rescue drones to perform tasks including high-rise exterior wall glass demolition, delivery of rescue materials to the interior, launching water hoses into the interior, and spraying extinguishing agents to extinguish the deep-seated indoor fire and exterior fire.
Drill Item Details
1. High-rise Tempered Glass Demolition
A total of 15 pieces of 1.8*2 meter 10-10A-10mm double-glazed tempered glass were set up at the drill site to simulate the exterior wall glass of a high-rise building.
After receiving the start command, a ZY-XF50 heavy-duty fire-fighting rescue drone was launched. The drone carried a multi-channel glass demolition device containing 20 window-breaking projectiles. Within 1 minute, all exterior wall glass was precisely demolished, providing strong support for subsequent rescue material delivery, water hose delivery, and indoor fire extinguishing.
2. High-rise Material Rescue Projectile Delivery
After the exterior wall glass was demolished, a ZY-XF50 heavy-duty fire-fighting rescue drone was launched, carrying two rescue material projectiles. The projectiles contained high-temperature fire-resistant suits, high-temperature gas masks, and fire blankets. After the drone reached the floor where people were trapped, it horizontally launched two rescue material projectiles into the safe area near the trapped personnel. The trapped personnel, wearing protective clothing and gas masks, successfully escaped from the fire scene.
3. High-rise Portable Water Hose Delivery
After the trapped personnel left the scene, a ZY-XF50 heavy-duty fire-fighting rescue drone was launched. The drone was equipped with a water hose launching device and a 150-meter water hose. The front end of the water hose was launched into the indoor fire scene and secured to the window using a braking and anti-grabbing device. At the same time, the end of the fire hose quickly connected to a high-pressure water supply truck on the ground, enabling rapid water supply. Rescue personnel picked up the hose and quickly suppressed the fire around the fire scene. This effectively solved the problem of rescue personnel having to carry heavy loads up the stairs to lay out hoses.
4. High-rise Deep Indoor Fire Extinguishing
The deep indoor fire was built using wooden strips with cotton yarn filling the gaps between the strips and the application of machine oil, diesel, paint, and other accelerants. The indoor fire scene was 20 meters long, 2 meters wide, and 1 meter high. After the fire was ignited, two ZY-XF100 heavy-duty fire-fighting rescue drones were launched. The drones carried DN50 drone-specific fire hoses and rose to a height of 100 meters within 20 seconds, approaching the fire source. With a flow rate of 1800 liters per minute, the drones extinguished the deep indoor fire. After about 5 minutes of continuous fire extinguishing operations, the fire was effectively controlled.
5. High-rise Exterior Fire Extinguishing
The exterior fire scene was constructed using steel pipe frames, with a burning module size of 6M*3M. The module used a 3-layer wooden structure with cotton yarn filling and machine oil, diesel, and paint as accelerants.
After the indoor fire spread and ignited the exterior fire scene, two more ZY-XF100 heavy-duty fire-fighting rescue drones were launched, forming a cluster operation with the previously launched drones. After about 30 minutes of continuous fire extinguishing operations, the fire was completely controlled.
Drill Result Description
This drill not only highly simulated the complex environment of a super high-rise building fire but also fully demonstrated the combat effectiveness of drones in high-rise fire rescue, testing the stability, efficiency, and safety of high-rise fire-fighting drones in a real fire scene. It solved the firefighting problems of traditional firefighting equipment such as "inaccessibility," "unreliability," and "insufficiency." The efficiency and effectiveness of drone fire extinguishing were highly recognized and praised by domestic and foreign firefighting experts present.
